You called me an idiot. Which would be flaming. Pathetic is a state of being which in my mind is neither hostile nor pleasant. It is merely stating a fact. Nothing I said was hostile.
Edit: Considering I don't have time to wait for your next whimsical reply. Ill end with this. If you then say "oh good sir, that was still insulting though". I will point out that an insult is merely a person angry at an opinion. They can take it bad if they choose, or take it with a grain of salt. The degree matters quite a bit in these situations. Luckily the degree of "Pathetic" is quite mild to an average person. On the matter of opinions, if you described a comedy show as serious and dramatic, the director might take offense, as it was intended to be hilarious, and turn a rather fine compliment, into a scene of negativity. (This direct situation is not referring to you)
