How many Ghz (AMT-atlon), how many ram and who graphic card minimum i need to put 6 bot?

laptop is hp dv9535nr:

1.5ghz (duo core) cpu
4gb ram (2gb stock)
nvidia 8600m gs vid card (256mb stock, up to 1023mb shared)
120gb hddx2
win 7 x64

i run at 1400x900 resolution

it was made in June 2007 - I bought it new... and then i bought another one for $150 that its video card "went out", I simply "reflowed" the video card and it worked perfectly. I got a GREAT deal on that one :)

it does the job, but nothing like a DX 11 card does.

Wow.. I had that same laptop with the same issue lol.. I parted it out and made $400 off the parts..

id recommend buying a laptop over pc
it takes much less space and even if laptop is more expensive, the investment will return quickly

yes and no

most laptops have sub-par equipment vs desktop -- unless you pay 2-3x the amount of a desktop for a laptop, then if you simply want a bot computer, go w/ a desktop or a really good deal on a laptop.

ie: cheap desktop will cost you $400-500 thats par for gaming specs
a "good" laptop will cost you $1500 thats par/good for gaming specs...

laptops are great, but they are extremely hard to upgrade and keep up to date. I have 3 working laptops, and my desktop is in the mail, the desktop ($365) is better than my $1500 laptop (thats 2.5 years old)

but, to each their own. I like laptops, but in my experiences ... desktops are always more powerhouses

well not knowing his budget, I'd say a minimum would be Quadcore (preferred i7) processor and at least 4GB of ram. 1 large 800gb-1tb HD, 1GB memory video card, 22-24" (or bigger) monitor is always helpful for multiple bots). If he's building it that's one thing, if he's ordering that's another...
