So DRelog/YAR no longer works after 1.06/1.07 and Dev stopped, use ARelog instead?

DRelog's author left after the decline of the Sarkoth Gold Rush period and hasn't worked since the beginning of Patch 1.06.

YAR's dev stopped a month ago. Users just discovered that the 0.9.2 and the latest experimental versions (scheduling crashes stuff) don't work with 1.07.

So using ARelog is the best choice?
 
I have been having hell with DB lately. I had finally gotten it to run smoothly two days before 1.07 and now im down again.

Cant get it going for shit.

Running 5 clients on one computer.
The first two bots log into town and sit there, reloading current profile over and over again.
The third one, DB crashes on load... every single time. Final 2 never load cause of crashing 3rd one.

All 5 clients use the same DB install so no idea why it fails on the third client every time!!!
YAR is required to run 5 bots on one machine with any type of efficiency. But it surely seems connected to the issues.

look at stenzos post, i havent tried DB yet, but i think he has helped a lot of people

I have profile kickstart disabled and it is not resolving the issue for me. I have also reinstalled all the .net requirements and DB and even Diablo3. I have used Beta and Release versions. Everything ends up with the same errors, same failure.

YAR was giving me trouble when I reinstalled everything today and here is how I fixed it.

Made a seperate DB install for every 2 bots (so 5 bots = 3 DB folders).
Made a seperate diablo 3 install for every bot
and ran as administrator

fixed my issues, hopefully it will help you. If not, at least I tried.

Are you running YAR at 24/7 Full Schedule? If not, YAR will crash everything when it hits the scheduled-stop-time.

This is exactly what I had to do. 1 db every 2 bots, and 1 separate install per bot (at least till apoc updates d3starter).

Is working nicely , schedule working without crashes related to it. 5-8 hours varying downtime per day. Not to say is perfect, since I've been having crashes far more often than usual, but hey it works.

If you weren't doing so, use experimental build for Yar. You have it available , link on the first post of Yar thread. It works so much better with this update. And do a clean install, let Yar reinstall its plugin on its own.

Rixx himself is using Yar , so we can expect it to work better in the future. I sincerely hope so!

EDIT: I only use profiles that have a built-in relogger friendly file and haven't experienced the continous profile reloading, so can't help with that. Check one of Crown's posts on the Yar thread about using the kickstarter , maybe that will help you. I ain't using kickstarter anymore.

About Arelog... I had a difficult time even finding it! And honestly , is inferior to Yar in options, and several changes that were asked by Db users on its thread went unheard. If you use it, please give us some feedback!

I found that if i set my Profile to use the YAR_Kickstarter rather then the starter in the profile, it will go just fine.
 
Are you still having issues? A couple of the biggest issues that users are having since the last patch includes:
1) Combat routine in YAR is named incorrectly. The "newest" combat routine for Trinity is named "Trinity" and not "GilesPlugin". Download the newest blank combat routine and manually type in "Trinity" in the combat routine settings in YAR
2) Disable YAR kickstart, delete the YAR plugin that it generated in your plugins folder, and then finally delete the kickstart profile that YAR created previously.

This just leads to the repeated re-caching for me :( Did all of that step by step. Only way to get around is to exit out of demonbuddy and allow YAR to reload it; however, that just removes the purpose of a relogger lol.

Do people actually have YAR working?

Yes, I have YAR working.

Don't use a profile that requires kickstart profiles with YAR. Don't use kickstart with YAR. This has fixed the majority of issues that people are having with YAR atm lol.
 
Drelog was working fine with 1.06. I had this one running with Trinity 0.45 for a long time now.
With 1.07, 0.45 stopped working and I think Drelog has a problem with the new Trinity. (not Demonbuddy)

I ran Yar and the newest Trinity since yesterday, but I got a lot of disconnects from server (never had this with 0.45) and when I woke up this morning, Yar was totally f**** up and none of my 6 bots were running... :(

Yep 24/7

used to run 2 sets of bots 1 daytime 1 night-time that each ran for about 12 hours each. I found that 24/7 was more cost efficient.

You you haven't updated Diablo 3 for 3rd bot. Right?

which act3 profile you recommend to stop this "caching" loop?
 
Yeah well im so pissed about this fucking scheduler up to the point of changing this bot ! Yar has many inconveniences such as it forces you to log automatically which 1 can led you to being banned and 2 i don't think it's even worked on
I can't believe it is so fucking hard to include A WORKING SCHEDULER in DB ..it has been reported several times(and funny thing it was working some versions ago) wtf do they want fucking donations if so say so and will donate ..jeez
