I am also getting the "error : the type initializer for 'styx.helpers.uisettings' threw an exception"... I deleted settings file... same error... I uninstalled and reinstalled C++ and .Net... I uninstalled and reinstalled HB... I also restarted my computer when i uninstalled and reinstalled all the programs... Still same error. Earlier I got it to work with my anti virus disabled... then it wouldn't work, then I turned my AV back on and all of a sudden it worked... Then I tried to log back in a min later and it didnt work, so I disabled my AV and now it doesn't work at all, I just keep getting the same error regardless.
