  • Monk-DWBrewmaster.xml
  • Monk-2HWindwalker.xml
  • Monk-DWWindwalker.xml

Actually, there is. I just downloaded it and checked it.

DK:
2HFrost
DWFrost
Blood
Unholy

Monk:
2HBrewmaster
DWBrewmaster
2HWindwalker
DWWindwalker
Mistweaver

They're all in there.

For monks, you should remove strenght, because it's a useless stat for monks

sry but where do i save this??

He says it in his post.

Note: Keep in mind that these weight sets are what I use personally. Also, I only use one single weight set while I'm playing, so I suggest not unzipping these into your HB/Data/Weight Set folder. I suggest making a new folder on your desktop and pulling out only the weight set you are planning on using for your particular toon choice. I know it's a burden, but I've gotten the best results from AE2 while doing this, as it seems -- at least to me -- that AE2 gets confused when you have every weight set dumped into one single folder.

Strange, all I'm getting is a blank screen when I try to download this. Forum's having problems I take it?

Originally I had the stat edited out, but when I looked at Windwalker and Brewmaster in AMR it showed it having a minor value, so I included it back into the sets. All the numbers have come from AMR. I know it's not a perfect site, but it was miles better than the old stat sets that shipped with HB.

question this is probly rather noob but how would i go about using these weight stats than the defualt

It's in the first post, but I'll recap.

1 -- Go into your HonorBuddy/Data/Weight Sets folder and delete everything in it.
2 -- Download and extract my .zip into the HonorBuddy/Data/Weight Sets folder.
3 -- Start WoW and login with the toon you want to play.
4 -- Start HB and login.
5 -- Click 'Plugins' and ensure there's a check next to AutoEquip2.
6 -- With AutoEquip2 highlight, click configure on the bottom left of the plugins window.
7 -- Make sure you configure the plugin (AE2) the way YOU want it configured, and also choose a weapon style.

That's it. AutoEquip2 will choose the proper weight set to use for your toon, and will equip gear matching that weight set when you click 'Start' on HB. It's that easy.

Unfortunately AutoEquip2 doesn't do that sort of thing. It equips weapons and armor that have the best stats for your spec on it. The ONLY way I could see that being possible is for you to place all your weapons in the bank and leave your fishing pole in your bag. Maybe then it would equip the pole by default since it was an empty slot. However, if you do this, and you keep anything in your bags other than the pole, AE2 will equip the better item over the pole automatically.

Would replacing all my Druid weight sets with yours make a big improvement in AE2 choices?

I can only speculate that swapping out the weight sets would make a large difference. The sets I came up with are, for the most part, up to par with current weights. It appears that HB's weights are old and outdated, or pertaining to older weight values. My sets seem to work the best, in my own opinion.

all I can really say is to give them a shot and see how they work out for you.

Can we get updated weight sets for patch 5.2?

Yes. I was just about to edit my post to reflect that I will be working on updating weights in the coming week. Have patience. They will be coming out soon.

These weight sets have now been modified to reflect the changes that came with 5.2. Just download the .zip, extract into your HB/Data/Weight Sets folder, and enjoy.
