[Bot] (Beta) DungeonBuddy - A Dungeon bot.

I'm planning to take steps to prevent queuing as tank without a full group of bots because it's something I don't wish to support since its just too risky.
Real players tend to sometimes disagree what the next objective should be and start running off towards their own objectives while expecting the tank to clear the way.

For example.
"Lets kill so so NPC because I need it for a quest"
"I need a drop off so so optional boss"
"Lets skip this trash group"

Not only that HV, but additionally glitches occur and stupidly I forget and drop group without stopping the leader. This leads to the tank requeue and filling a DPS pug.

Now I've got one random in my bot group and I panic. As an excuse, I chat /p "running guild party group - calling it for the day. We didn't mean to requeue...sorry!" then leave group for all.

This ends with my party having deserter debuff and an innocent guy who I just wasted his queue time. Potentially he's mad. No, I'm not gonna get banned over it, but I don't want the attention.

What I should have done was DC everyone for a time, then relog - it's odd for someone joining in...but at least I think I wouldn't have gotten "deserter" on all my bots.

Long story short - at a minimum, the choice / toggle for running as tank would be appreciated!!!

I've got two Ppl in my office that make that commute too - I don't know how they do it!

Could you change looting to:

Loot: on | off

And if it's on:
Loot Bosses: on | off
Loot Chests: on | off
Loot Trash (mobs): on | off

So we can have:
1. Loot nothing
2. Loot everything
3. Loot everything apart from bosses AND / OR everything apart from chests
4. Loot bosses AND / OR chests, but no trash mobs

E.g.: I use DB to play a tank manually and let it follow by a dd or healer
The follower should loot all trash mobs, but never bosses or their chests (that's something that I do with the hand played character)

Healer goes on its own mission and wipes group

As the heading would suggest a 4 Bot Dungeon group and occassionaly feral goes ahead pulling but the healer goes ahead even when the group is in combat causing untold hassle.

I am running all of these instances of WoW and HB on same machine. The DPS Paladin follows tank fine and never advances ahead of him.

You can do this with WoWs own settings. Set looting to Free For All, pass on blues and above with your follower.
 
No Queue

I've been running DB for weeks with limited problems but now, all of a sudden - the bot will not queue for Dungeons. If I manually queue for LFD - it will not accept the invite. If i manually accept the invite - It will move with the tank, but will not target, attack or run any combat.

I've attached the log - Please let me know what i need to do to fix this. It's driving me nuts. This is on a fresh HB install.

On a side note - it seems to only have this problem on my DK. My other characters seemingly run fine (queues, fights, etc).

Happening the same with my warrior , he moves but doesnt attack at all.

Try emptying your bags. H.V. had a previous poster do that and it fixed the problem. Something about a "bugged consumable" or something odd in the bags that the bot either wants to sell or mail or can't identify. If you find out what the item is, let us know!

You sir... are a life saver. Thank you for that suggestion - so far it's queued and is running okay for the time being. Hopefully that will last.

Im running it to on a dk! Startet on lvl 71. Over all there are some bugs:

1. some times the bot runs in circle looks strange :)
2. You have to buy food if you dont buy and you dont get a heal the bot just sits down an waits :)
3. I have seen that its important to be in a Main city like orgrimmar! Because in some other zones the bot dont find a vendor and stops queing!
4. The following of the grp should be much smoother!


Over all it works great! Im allready at dungeons with my dk! Now its lvl 83 and is always first in dps! I think i couldnt play so efficient like the bot:) Thats just pure awesome!
Now when im done with cata il be post here if there are some bugs at mop Dungeons!
