[Bot] (Beta) DungeonBuddy - A Dungeon bot.

Well iv been using the new dungeon buddy for a few weeks.
it pretty much does every dungeon without any issues the only ones are as follows:
1:Not Moving when group moves stuck looting.
2:Randomly doesn't move to group, to solve this id suggest if tank > 30 and moveto.
3:id turn off boss looting as the other group members will do it (option maybe)
4:dungeon script updates regarding jump locations. but to be fair every tank is different so id suggest this if possible.
Mimic the tank move where he/she moves to, jump when they jump. if z changes then move forward / jump.

This, number 3 is a important one as it will keep looting until need/greed or passed is clicked and this looks very suspicious
 
HighVolts Is there anyway that we can get the Current API for Making Custom Profiles?
 
I've been testing 60+ hours over the last 3 weeks. Everyone has pretty much nailed it with the suggestions on the MoP 90 Heroics. With extensive testing - these are the things that I've seen that are consistently a major problem and lead to boots/ suspicion or otherwise unwanted behavior. To piggyback on Chewbaka's log...

General
+(*) Add resurrection support (probably have to be in routine)
**Possible brez / battle rez support?
+(*) Following could be be improved to be not botlike (a lot more softer)
+(*) Sometimes you don't need to follow tank. Like if you kill a boss, you can just run to next trash group and wait for tank.
** Ability to turn off quests while in dungeon - while searching for NPC's, Quest items or Objectives the bot typically aggro's mobs (for instance, Gekkan's room, Sword of the Anointed in Scarlet Monastery, etc)

Temple of the Jade Serpent
-General
+(*) Lots of backtracking in this dungeon(bot will go in circles)
+(*) Tries to mount in the dungeon, when running from second to third boss.
** also tries to mount in the hall way between the first and second boss.
-Wise Mari
+Should run straight back of room in phase 1
+Freaks out when going back to tank after looting
+(*) Trouble with going to boss. It wanted to go over steps to avoid water, but freaked out. (needs better handling)

Scarlet Halls
-General
+Tries to kill dogs on leash (can just run past)
** possible avoid mob ID on leashed dogs?
+(*) Just don't attack dogs unless tank is tanking them because if someone throws food at the guard, the dogs will eat him and then fall asleep if no one attacks them
-Houndmaster Braun
+(*) No need to attack the Scarlet Guardians after the boss. The dogs will just kill them.
-Armsmaster Harlan
+(*) Group was all in room at the top waiting for me to walk in
+(*) The boss was tanked at top of room and bot went in circles trying to get off stairs while going to top
** Bot has a hard time entering the room with the rest of the group.
** Bot tends to pull the patrol outside of the boss's room because of it's difficulty to enter.
** Bot runs down to the bottom floor even if the group fights him at the top of the stairs putting him out of LoS - which leads to jumping, spinning and erratic movement and usually a kick.


Siege of Niuzao Temple
-General
+Studder steps out of Sap Puddles when clearing trash
+After second boss and third boss, maybe follow tank loosly down to next trash area (looks like a total bot, especially when he isnt on mount and the bot is)
-Vizier Jin'bak
+Keeps running to middle of Sap Puddle then running back out
-Commander Vo'jak
+No need to mount when outside
+Should just wait a little away from stairs so tank can take agro first
+Once again, sap puddle pathing goes bonkers sometimes
+(*) Just wait at top for mobs
+(*) After boss, just mount and run down to door, no need to follow tank
+(*) Ran back and forth at bomb location
+(*) Trying to follow tank after boss and Sap Puddle avoidance interfered (no mount)
+(*) Don't follow tank when mobs coming up
** bot attempts to move it's way down the ramp while the trash mobs are coming up (where bombs are thrown) - then tries to avoid the AOE, getting itself stuck, spinning or erratic movement - or just dies. During this part of the encounter the bot should only stay at the top platform.
** In the area between the second boss (down the ramp, through the gate and to the right) the bot should follow the party closer - many groups skip trash here and the bot runs directly into trash pulling groups and usually killing everyone.

** It's rare but occasionally the bot will jump to remove the caustic pitch and jump off the end of the platform and die.

Shado-Pan Monastery
-Master Snowdrift
+Has trouble walking up stairs to boss
+Doesn't walk in room if tank pulls
** gets stuck on the chest after loot and freaks out
-Sha of Violence
+Doesn't run around spinning circle things to get there (mesh issue)
-Taran Zhu
+Has trouble getting back up when falling down (on mount) to skip second trash group (if it manages to follow tank down there without going through mobs)
+If tank pulls third trash group before you get back up, the bot will run right through the second group
+Doesn't run through the fence to skip the last trash group (or it atleast tried then quickly went around and pulled group)
** The points above make this particular instance completely un-usable. It's an instant kick here - it pulls almost ALL of the mobs with pathing issues.
** Specifically, after killing Sha, it is fine on the first group of trash. Heads down the bridge and does not drop through the fence - aggro's 2nd group (this usually will get you kicked, or killed). It will clear the third pack, then go onto the next bridge and do the same thing - does not turn left through the fence, pulls this third pack and either wipes the group or gets you kicked (especially since it's twice this happens in 3 pulls). Due to the trash issues on this part of the instance - this instance is unusable

Scarlet Monastery
-Thalnos the Soulrender
+Doesn't dismount if mount is too large to enter door (can you enable and disable mounting on certain dungeons?)
** Has a tendency to pull additional trash if entering a group that has partial cleared some of the trash - in-particular the zombie mounds in the middle and right side.

** In the court yard before Brother Korloff the bot tends to pull group after group of adds and entire packs. If the group jumps into the pool and moves up past the statue, the bot does not follow - instead pulls everything on one side of the room. It also tends to pull everything below and above the stairs. The massive accidental trash pulls in this court yard area make this instance un-usable. 90% of the time this is where I get kicked for pulling extra trash. Also, possible mob ID to not attack (especially for classes with pets - the mechanical dummy's on each side of the court yard.)
-Brother Korloff
+When it was trying to avoid Firestorm Kick, it accidently pulled the mobs that were under the roof behind the training dummies.
-High Inquisitor Whitemane
+Tank and dps died on first trash in room, then bot refused to go anywhere after res.

Scholomance
-Instructor Chillheart
+Doesn't jump down stairs to avoid mobs

+Some trouble when it was in Acid and in Strafing Run fire

+(*) Some tanks try to LoS pull and run behind the pillar or out of the room. Maybe have the bot run to tank.

Mogu'shan Palace
-Trial of the King
+(*) For first 2 trash groups, needs behavior to move out of lightning storm

The biggest issues for me are Scarlet Monastery, and Shando Pan. Neither one of the current profiles are usable. Both of them tend to pull trash due to bad pathing, jumping mechanics, etc. The actual avoidance, and boss fights seem to work - but the constant accidental trash pulls at the above denoted area's are instant kicks and easily reportable. If these two instances were fixed - the majority of the MoP Heroics would be pretty usable. As far as I can tell - these two profiles are in dire need of tweaks - and once they're figured out the majority of the MoP heroics should be nearly AFKable.
 
Honestly - Without pointing out the obvious here...

With all of the hard work from the Developers, Profile Writers (artists at times), and general work that goes into something as potentially awesome as Botting Dungeons - I'm really surprised that there's been no updates on Auto Equip, minus some updated weight sets. Unless you're solely running dungeons for JP or VP, you're running for gear upgrades to join LFR, or whatever other reason.

It seems like the entire point of getting DungeonBuddy to run as seamless as possible would be to upgrade your gear and without AutoEquip being addressed, it's almost like all of this work you guys are doing is for nothing. As a community, what can we do to help prioritize the gear rolling process? Is there any way that we can set up AutoEquip to roll on anything type dependent in the mean time? For example: If you're monk, is it possible to have an addon, or AE automatically roll need on anything leather even if it's for OS?

I've seen every one of my bots get the drop they've been waiting for for weeks just to roll greed on it and lose it to a plate wearer, or someone who doesn't need it.

All of the sudden, though, it does the dungeon perfectly fine, and then at the last boss, when we kill it, I roll on gear like normal, and if I actually need on something, the bot leaves the dungeon before everyone else rolls and loot is distributed. I have lost out on two upgrades now and it's getting quite frustrating. Any thoughts?

It's getting better every few weeks, but still at a state where I don't feel I can let it go completely AFK - so I do the same. Even with my team set up to pass loot to one player, I can't depend on it. I frequently stop bot at the end as well.
 
Maybe I am stupid. But I didn?t get Dungeonbuddy work.
I did all the steps that atr posted in the first Post.
then I started the bot. The first instance was Temple of the Jade Serpent Heroic. My char ( Monk,Tank)ran against the door opposite the entrance of the instance and after a while the bot logged out because of stucking.

I am not sure if the Folder with the Dungeon Scripts and Default Profiles is right? Do I have to copy all Folders that are in the HB original into the new one ?
 
I'm using a hunter level 82, doing dungeons where the group jump down to skip trash and my pet pulls all the trash and causes a wipe.. any idea's to fix this?
 
Ok, my fault, now DB runs fine.

Did anyone know what to do so that Autoequip rolls need for things you can wear???
 
Tried to use DungeonBuddy for Mogu'Shan but it just throws this Errors. It is a fresh Install without any extra Features like Routines or Plugins.

OK, time for some updates on the working dungeon list. Here are tonight's efforts.

Ragefire Chasm - fully afkable.
Deadmines - fully afkable.
Wailing Caverns - broken, will attempt the escort quest before running the dungeon. Highvoltz has stated this will be fixed in the next version of DB. It's a DB core issue, not the script.
Shadowfang Keep - fully afkable. Minor issues in that the tank occasionally runs into the door before Lord Godfrey and seems to be using heroic tactics rather than those for normal. The old script had better tactics for the normal dungeon.
Blackfathom Deeps - fully afkable. Minor issues in that jumping the platforms has a high fail rate and toons spasm on the shore before swimming across to this point. Also likes going for a swim at the Moonshrine Ruins.
Stormwind Stockade - fully afkable. May overpull.
Gnomeregan - most times afkable. Navigation issues. Frequent falls into the Launch Bay and frequently stuck on exiting some tunnels. Judicious use of blackspots needed I think. And MUST GET OUT OF THE DAMN TUNNELS BEFORE THE EXPLOSIVES GO OFF if doing Emi Shortfuse quest. Doesn't do this area every time. What are the criteria?

In Hellfire Ramparts on the final boss with dragon the bot will try to loot the chest after killing only the first boss, not the dragon. So.. I wipe over and over ;;
