What do you think about this configuration?

my bot consume 1.2 gb ram per bot and im using ddr 2....so 16gb for 10 bots should be enough , as a processor in games i5 is better than 8 core amd fx , so go for i7 ( u dont need oc for 3th generation) , as a power supply u wont need more than 500 w power supply but make sure they are real W , when u read that gpu needs a 600-700 w is bullshit , is all marketing , a computer like this consumes maximum 300-400 w ( REAL W ) , trust me i work in IT and made configurations of i7 3th with 6990 vga cards and supply power of 450-500 w ( chieftec are the most realiable and good price ) as a motherboard get the cheapest that support your cpu / memory ( buy standard ddr 3 ) dont get OC's ones...u will get a lot of bluescreens in the end if u buy OC's memory's , and buy a SSD ( + a crap hdd 1 tb) and u will see that your comp will fly with 10+ bots

You should be fine overclocking with a 3770k. In fact i'm using 3770k too. But in my opinion you don't need to overclock a 3770k just for 10bots lol. i bot 8bots without OCing and I don't even clock 65% of my CPU
 
well in the end for 933 euro I may end up with more than 10 bots, even added an ssd, more ram I can add later, just dont have enough money fore more than this xD
btw, most of the time I see people saying it cant be put on a flash 8gb because it's actually 7,70, implying it actually can be stripped down to 8gb game client?
how?
and regarding the SSD, should I install diablo 3 as many times as I can on it, or the windows itself with 1 diablo 3 that will be open like 10+ times

I personally never installed diablo 3 on my ssd. Only installed the OS on my SSD for fast bootup and performance. all my programs are installed on my HDD
 
change the PSU for something better, like Enermax, Corsair, Sirtec..just not Raidmax!
 
but wont a single diablo instalation on an ssd run faster than 20 on hdd xD I'm really disapointed from my hdd atleast and it's same speed

You couldn't tell the difference when you're using such a powerful processor. lol
 
asked my delivery guy for Enermax, Corsair or Sirtec power supply that would do the job, waiting for the price, they dont even have a site where you can pick parts, atleast they ship cheap ;d and have warranty
 
If you use isboxer, you only need to install 1 diablo. Then use the cache files, it takes 4gb space per diablo. So you can fit 10 accounts on 64gb sdd.
 
isn't isboxer for tinfoil hat owners? guess ill have to dig more into it, right now im struggling to run 2 bots on my crappy hp laptop ;d got no computing power for virtual machines

No, it's used for multiboxing, but it makes launching multiple clients so much easier and you can customize window layouts and other stuff.
YAR + isboxer, simply amazing stuff. When everything is set up (takes some time and learning) its one click and you have everything up and running in nice order.

7 free trial, then it's 15e something for 90 days or you can get the "free version" if you know what i mean.

I personally bought it when i was multiboxing in diablo.

Hm... So u guys use multiply bots on 1 PC with 1 IP ? How long are not banned such accounts usually ? My PC should deal OK with 8 bots (16GB, 2500K +OC), but I use just 3 on VMwares for "safety". But I start thinking that maybe I'm not effective?.

ps. About Video. My 9800GT is using 10-15% of GP for 1 VMware with 25fps bot. So your 7870 GP video would never go higher than 7% and will usually be 3-5% per window I think. Bottleneck could be RAM on videocard, but I never used so many bots to check how it goes.

That is more than enough on the GPU man. In the end it's mostly the ram that has to pull the load : ) using evga gforce GTX 670 2GB DR5 and not even feeling anything here.
 
i mean the video card in general, you never know what may happen with diablo 3, I dont want to end up with a computer that cant be used for anything else ;d
is that video decent for the CPU
