New to HB, question about botting questing with RaF friend on another PC

Hi guys,

I'm relatively new to botting, I've done a few bits here and there but this is my first main project with HonorBuddy.

A friend of mine got interested in botting after I was talking to him about it, but he also didn't want to risk his main acct, so we both bought fresh accounts that are totally unlinked to our mains, these are shop bought accounts which we'll update with physical game time cards only. We also both bot on different machines to our main accounts, mainly because we want to play mains at the same time as botting.

My friend has RaF'd my account from his so we have the 300% XP bonus going, and our plan was to group up in game and start our bots off and let them quest grind together, however its not really working as intended. So does anyone have any experience/information of setting up two accounts for RaF questing that enables it them to actually work as a team, etc follow the same profiles and wait for each other/share quests etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at the guide section of the forums or tried a search for similar threads? This gets asked every day and the same info keeps circulating around.
I actually don't want to seem rude but you've not even tried to help yourself first.

The main point is you can't expect to set both bots in quest mode and level together it just won't happen in and I don't think the devs have said they will build that function in either.
There is workarounds though.

Thanks for your reply, no offense taken from your post. Trust me we both (my Raf botting friend and I) have checked the forums for some guidance, but we kinda just resigned ourselves to the fact that HB just cant do what we want, which is to simply have 2 bots following the same profile but also staying close enough to each other to hand in quests at the same time. Shame really. It's looking like we'd have to set the bots to grinding mode only to get something working where they stay within RaF range, which isnt ideally really.
Or....

Were now looking at this guide for dungeon botting in a party, however having both tried dungeonbuddy we're not really that keen on using it for hours on end as its a high risk way of being reported for "bot like behavior" in our opinion anyway.

DB works pretty well if you can have all 5 members botted together, but sadly the current state makes it obvious that there is a bot in the group. Some runs are good though with a tank and healer botting so it forces the dps to go with them.
I'd suggest finding someone to boost you through dungeons together although that's not AFK really but it is fairly quick and might be a solution in the short term anyway.
Botanist is currently working on some amazing RAF profiles for dungeon boosting but that also requires a high level toon to boost although it should be AFK when done.

Other than that you can chance your arm at BG's.
