because of the inclusion of the portal, it should only suck for us botters not actively helping out in updating profiles...
Otherwise I cant see how its bad - 50% of the time the merchant/stash is where you need it upon resume, 50% of the time you have to go through the tp to resume your checkpoint based MF run (vault of the assassin etc).

Less than 50% (or even 10%) of the population farms an Act that is not Act 3.
Actually it will fix Full questing profiles stuck when your bot occasionally resumes on the checkpoint while it's a way better to be in town to continue run. Towers of cursed lvl 2 very ussual stuck ( when the bot fails to kill Cideya or take a portal)

this is going to suck for us botters:
*When resuming a game, players will now be placed in town instead of at the last known checkpoint (a portal will be available to take you to your last known checkpoint, if desired)*

- The change is merely to deter/frustrate botters, not to help them by preventing them from getting stuck. (Blizzard doesn't help botters to get richer; only botters help Blizzard get richer)
- Everything profile has to be rewritten and tested.
- Town run routine might need to be rewritten as well.
