ETA on D3 Clients on this Good "Budget Rig"

yes, razers game booster will help. but dont solve wrong pc-settings ;)

and yes, i can only tell u guys the same every time. iam running 20+ on a 3570k. my 8 cores can handle easy 30 bots and a few gw2 too. check the guide-section for optimize vmwares, its the same steps. also memory-optimizing tools will help alot. they can bring down d3 to ~300mb instead of using 1g+. also, u can try to play with trinitys tps-modification. reduce drastically the cpu-usage.

i cant tell u more because its try and check how it works. its different from pc-build to pc-build. there are much more factors. how do u built your pc? most users built their pc's horrible. so every try to optimize is a waste of time.

only, and i mean ONLY, if u do everything perfect, u can max out your bots.

how do you use razer game booster with YAR? i cant seem to find the D3 file location through gamebooster after dragging it onto gamebooster. might be overcomplicating it but idk never seen it before, thanks
 
You have 2 tabs. Dont use the special-gamebooster tab, go to the other tab where you can boost the whole window to your likeings. Drop everything unneeded and hit start. Thats all.

This gamebooster comes from the iobit-guys. They also have a great memory-optimizing tool inside advanced system care. Just do this steps:
1. go to Speed Up Slow Computer, Keep PC and Internet Secure, Freeware Download - IObit
2. install and start, but DONT do a scan
3. go to tools, click smart ram, click config, check everything except clean clipboard
4. go to advanced system care config and uncheck start with windows
5. restart your window
6. enjoy 300mb d3-clients ;)
 
FX-8320 & 4.5GHz = 14 bots at 40FPS no freeze spikes.
i3570k at 4.3GHz = 8 bots clumsy, freeze spikes all the way. FPS 30

Sandy/Ivy Bridge has super performance for single-dual threaded games.
Bulldozer/Vishera was made for multitasking and its even cheaper than intel.

Thanks for this information, it helped. On the subject of the game booster... can it run using isboxer or do you have the launch the game through the game booster itself? Ram was not an issue for me atm, CPU usage is. Does the gamebooster help in that reguard?

I've had the same experiences but hoping some of these guys share some info that im unaware of.
 
never touched isboxer.

game booster only close useless threads and programs in your task. so its more power to your cpu. very usefull for normal users with a normal pc. useless for users with a already optimized pc :)
smart ram can help every user, because it drops all the ram-usage to a minimum.

i never had problems with intel, very nice cpu's with high power. much more power than amd. but atm iam testing the a8 and a10 amd-cpu's with nice integrated grafix. but i think its already on the limit with just 4x d3 and for more copies it needs an extra cheap grafix like gts 250 or so. still testing...

Yea totally, I ran 8 bots on an old Q6600 Core2 quad so you are doing something wrong. You need to tweak your D3 settings. I get around 10% CPU usage per bot on a 6 year old CPU so an I5 should be able to do better than that.
 
Well my processes in task manager shows d3 at 100-300mb ram per client but my total physical ram usage still says 15gb (around 1gb per client) still. Whats up with that?
 
you guys can guess all you want, but at the end of the day, by system specs alone its almost impossible to tell. the only way to know, is to know.

OC to 3.2ghz, but yea. Cost me $50 on ebay. SLI 8800 GTX for video. Cost me $40 each. 8 bots and it ran them just fine with 80% or less CPU usage. It would probably run 10 if I had more memory. No need to spend a ton of money on your rig if you are smart.

This methode keeps my D3-clients under 120mb RAM usage, thanks ^^

why would you buy that cpu? i would get the point if you were going for a dual cpu system but that's not possible with the cpu you selected.
 
Just loaded d3 up on my older q6600 computer that I was running a HTPC on. Good to hear you ran 8 bots on it. Was the easiest CPU to overclock.
