How long can more or less leave the bot connected to that is not banned? At about 8 am each day?

mine have been on 49 hours right now, if thats what you mean. its 24/7, just a few random disconnects every now and then

LOL, so the bot on all the time? good!

helps to have a relogger, such as ARElog or YAR, because when there are random disconnects or game/db shuts down, you dont have to be at your computer to get it starting again. If your computer is good enough and your running non-buggy profiles etc, you can just run it nonstop without any disconnects or anything. Then you can use the reloggers as backup

But I believe that a bot on all the time to see blizzard not stand and ban lol

if you bot, you WILL BE BANNED, you get banned for botting 2 hours a day, you get banned for 6 hours a day, and you get banned for 24/7. it is inevitable. you might as well get the most out of your botting time.

once you decide to bot, just don't be surprised when you get banned. I've had a bot being banned only running 6-8 hours for a week, 70% monitor (experiment in HC).

24/7 dat shit :P

...just a funny story that happened yesterday.
One of my Barbs (20 days old, got it for 25 Euro from ebay) that is running like 20-22 hours per day was under review from Blizzard yesterday. Seems like the old owner made a puny attempt to get the account back via the blizz. webform.
So I got a msg. from a GM later who told me that he reviewed the account and that there is no change in login pattern and thus, ticket closed.

Funny, I hoped for a msg. like: "thank you playing nonstop the last 50 hours, as a good customer we will reward you with a STR/Crit Mempo ^^"

So what could this mean?

a) the account was not closely reviewed?
b) they do not care how long you play, as long as you are not somehow flagged?
c) An account has to be flagged via some kind of automated routine, and that hasn?t happened yet?

But the most important finding for me is: Bot hardcore, to get back the money you have invested as fast as possible, you will get banned sooner or later, regardless of botting 2,5,10 or 24 hours a day...

Which is more advantageous? Farm items or gold? If it were gold, the nightmare would be better?

I have been running 2x bots for aprox 200 hours straight, not counting one or two relogs each day for item cleaning. They run 24/7. no ban. Think of it this way. Why care about being banned? Why only run a bot for 8 hours a day to avoid getting banned? You can find enough items ( with good luck) in the other 16 hours on the first day to pay for another copy of D3. So just expect to get banned, as long as you pay for the price of your demonbuddy codes and your game keys, its ok.
