Getting gold capped

I've started a personal quest of trying to reach gold cap. I'm botting herbalism and mining at night and during the day. When I get home from work I mill the herbs and turn them into shoulder enchants and vendor them. The ore I prospect and turn into rings and cut the rare gems. The rings I disenchant and turn into enchants which I post on the auction house.
The purpose of this thread was asking for tips from some of you experienced gold makers. So any help would appreciated, anything I can do to improve my gold output?
 
If you aren't already, use an AHBuddy to post 16 hrs per day, every day.
Make flasks/potions/Epic shoulder enchants/trillium bars etc and sell with ahbuddy.
but you shouldnt use ahbuddy with 1 gatherer, its too little mats to have all gems/enchants.

Do you want us to store the gold for you as well?

- i do the same thing as the poster of the thread does, but flasks and enchants are close to being worth nothing..
flasks goes for 50-60g ea, enchants (most of em except the weapon enchants) goes for 10-30g ea.
does making epic shoulder enchants make u more gold, than just making greater crane enchants and selling them to the vendor?

is there some kind of math piece that can tell you if you're making profit? lets say ghost iron ore is .. 25g a stack, is there any way other than saying the chance of getting a gem worth X and X being worth more than Y (Y being the ghost iron ore) or is it just random?...
i do have a JC/ENCH on a lvl 85.. would i just then prospect all the ores, keep the rare gems, and make necks/rings of the rest.. DE them, and sell the mats?

50 stacks of ghost iron ore - output ;
i guess this is the way to do it? (Sorry for the OCD.. can't explain why the lower bottom makes sence to me.. but dafuq :P)

- then i craft the gems that are most profit, (the blue ones) and then send them to my banker - and make rings and necks from the greens...

- send the greens to my other alt, who then disenchants everything DISENCHANTED; 9? stacks of spirit dust, 11 essence and 8 small ethernal shards.

- send the enchanting mats to my banker, and sell them. (i could make enchants there i guess, but imo. its not worth it on my realm :S idk 100% tho)

a rough calculation;
Spirit dust 19g 60s each stack (i got 9? stacks) = 186g
Mysterious Essence 16g 60s ea. (i got 11) = 182g
purified amethyst (got 1) = 73g 90s
Brilliant ruby 28g 90s ea (got 6) = 173g
Wicked onyx (got 1) = 39g 80s
Champions onyx (got 1) = 6g 85s
Accurate amethyst (got 14) 45g 90s ea = 642g
Sparkling river's heart (got 6) 21g 90s ea = 131g
small ethereal shard (got 8) 9g 95s ea = 79g

Total = 1513,55g

estimated profit from selling the 50 stacks of ore raw =1150g

now i did all the prospecting and making the gems by hand, also i enchanted it by hand.. it could have been done easier i suppose, but i just wanted to test it ;P



am i totaly wrong or? only had HB for like.. 2 weeks

I might try to get into the alchemy. Flasks and potions always sell for a lot. thanks!
 
Well i have setup Arelog so it's start at 8 o clock in the morning with my AH bank char for 15 min and then a farming/ore profile for 3 hours and then gets on my bank char and does ah stuff for 15 min and afterwards it goes farming/ore for 3 hours again.
It always start with my AH bank char and ends with it :)

I mostly receive around 4-8k each day :)

This until 5 o clock so it's done after i'm back from work and i have some gold in and auctions away.

I'm receiving enough gold for my own use but i'm still thinking about another method like the shuffling with disenchanting en prospecting ore and milling herbs because i have all the required professions for it :P

Eventually, the other gem/enchant posters will give up, unless they also bot.
Whats easier to sell, 100 golden lotus per day or 20 of each fllask?
same with gems, 10 of 50 different gems sells faster than 500 bold prims
 
@soulravager, i did the shuffle thing..
and only the spirit dust sold.. ;p ghost iron ore get's insta' bought on my realm tho :P
i shall return with more number's!

Stupid Staffix didn't think about checking if the shoulder enchants where BOP or not..
i've been selling em for 18g 75s ea at the vendor, but they're 35g each on the AH.. stupid me xD

How much does raw ore go for on your server?
On my server with just a couple of hours of farming ore i make 20k selling it to ONE private buyer.

don't be to greedy you said you bot night an day that's very risky I think you shouldn't bor more then 16-18hours a day
