Stop honorbuddy from minimizing to system tray?

Sometimes I alt+Tab to desktop to open a file, then alt+Tab to desktop again to bring up all my shit, other than honorbuddy is now gone and I have to go to my system tray to bring it up.

Anyway of stopping that?

Hb does not minimize when you alt tab...
 
Not when you alt tab, but when you alt tab to desktop as OP stated.

Try alt+tabbing to desktop or clicking on the show desktop button if you have the proper OS.
 
Bump!

Bumping old thread for I am having this same exact problem... Only happens when minimizing HB and it goes to the system tray. A simple option to disable this function would be spectacular.
 
if you right click on the wasp img it should give you options
 
Right clicking on the wasp only gives me the options of "Start", "Stop", and "Exit". If I choose exit, restart HB, and then login again it just automatically goes right back down to the system tray.

Hi, FatStickman,

To unminimize Honorbuddy from the system tray, double-click on the icon. I don't know why the normal (single-click) convention isn't followed, but its not.

Neither Double-clicking nor Single-clicking will bring the window back up. =/
 
clear your settings folder and try again,most likely it has to do with window position

Hi, Fatstickman,

Tony has nailed this again. The Honorbuddy window has somehow been moved off your visible screen (it happens), and clearing the Settings folder will repair this.

Has clearing the settings folder fixed the problem?
 
I have to say it would be nice to be able to completely prevent HB from going to system tray, if there is a way to do that i have missed it..

Sorry, but there is no way that we know of to prevent HB from going to the tray.
 
Deleting everything in the Settings folder did not change anything... Also, reinstalling entirely still does not allow me to bring the window back once it has been minimized. If the problem was with the window being off of my visible screen, then when I double click on the icon in the system tray it would bring it back to the task bar, however this does not happen.

Havn't said this yet, but just to confirm I am also on Windows 7 - 64bit
 
completely restart your machine, and delete your settings folder again before starting honorbuddy.

This does allow me to start HB without it being automatically minimized... the first time I open it after the restart and deleting my settings. However, if I minimize the window again it goes back to the system tray and will not let me bring it back to the task bar or my view with any number of left or right clicks. =/
 
DRAG IT FROM THE BOX WITH THE SMALLER BOXES IN IT TO THE BAR BELOW NEXT TO THE ARROW. DOUBLE CLICK IT. KLN12OBJL1V1LKSDKJSNAEW (Sorry, drugs.)
