Since i am unable to post in the guide section i posted here.
This is my first guide seeing as ive only used honorbuddy for about a week now, but I was unable to find a good guide on how to level with recruit a friend, via questing, not running dungeons, which I personally distrust.
In order for this to work you will need two two copies of wow (duh) and either one (if you want to control the main) or two (for mostly automated leveling). They will need to be linked with recruit a friend.
In this guide we will refer to the older account as the VETERAN account, and the new account that was recruited as the NEWBIE account.
Setting up the veteran account
1. Any heirlooms you have you will want on this character. They will be assisting (thus not getting quest xp) so any bonus xp they get the better.
2. Set your profile to partybot.
3. Under plugins select Anti Drown, and Talented 2
4. Load a blank profile (you can find one on this site)
5. Disable flight paths
Setting up the Newbie Account (This account will be your leader.)
1. Make sure this account is the party leader
2. Download kicks leveling profiles.
3. Set the profile to questing
4. Under plugins select any you would like, but LeaderPlugin is required.
5. Disbale flight paths
Assuming that everything is setup correctly, you should be able to start both sessions, and your newbie account will be the leader. The newbie will go on its was questing as it would on solo. Your veteran account will tag along and assist the newbie account by healing/dpsing etc.
Now your newbie account will be getting a lot more xp than your veteran account because only the newbie will be getting the quest xp. The way you get around this is by granting levels. Since you can grant your veteran character one level for two your newbie levels you should be able to keep up. If for some reason you are unable to keep up switch roles (simply switch configurations) until you?ve leveled enough to catch up.
Anyway like I said this is my first week with hb and my first guide so I hope this helps someone out.
