Will the latest version of honorbuddy work for an older version of wow?

I am thinking of doing honorbuddy I play on both retail and a private server for 3.3.5, If I purchase honorbuddy will it work for me on the 3.3.5 version of warcraft?

No, it will not. You would have to try using an older version from 3.3.5, but we don't support it on private servers.

ok, thanks I found an older version of 3.3.5 but I just decided to play on the retail with it and forget about the private because when I ran the 3.3.5 HB it crashed on startup I can post a log if needed if it just wont work thats ok too.

HB doesn't work on private servers mate. It's due to the fact that private servers work differently from retail servers. They made HB to work specifically with retail. It was said exactly in another post a while back. They explained what the difference was between retail and private. It may have some very limited functionality, but you're looking at mostly hangs and crashes on private servers.

for the guy above me, this would be a better answer to my question. For this post, thank you for the answer I did some searching and couldn't find that information I do some programming work myself so I understand the concept of what you are explaining, they work differently, no client side stuff. I just got back to retail so wish me luck in botting, I am an old school wow player and I used the MMO glider before he went down so this new HB is even better and working wonders with the trial for me thanks devs keep it up! Thanks for the replys can close now.
