Zones my profitable if all quests completed?

So ive heard a few people talking about zones would be more profitable if u have done all quests in a zone so there arnt any phasing going on (mining/herbing wise). Is this true?

The nodes don't get phased, for instance you constantly see nodes in twilight highlands de-spawning it seems but it's actually other players grabbing them first, in my opinion its safer if you have done none of the quests in a zone so other players cannot see you.

Actually always thought they did, seen it alot of times a node just dispears infront of me. So that would just be another player in another phased zone?
