Hi im trying to get Zin Rokh Destroyer of the Worlds with Arch bot but I heard the % chance for your next solve to be a rare is 1% for any race. When I tick the solve option it solves all races, thus reducing my chance to get the item I want. Since I leave it over night and the fragment limit is 200, I dont want to put solve option off and only get 200 fragments for the whole night... Is there a way to make it only solve troll artifacts or does anyone know another method to get this sword? Thanks in advance.
 
Believe it or not, I have TWO destroyer of worlds. This is because I did archeology on two toons. Your best bet is to set it in Eastern Kingdoms and set it to solve with troll tablets. The faster you get the fragments done, the faster the game will roll on your next archeology find. In the meantime, just sell the commons and save gold for the important enchant, like landslide.
 
I thought this person was telling you just about Zin'Rokh. The chance for it is less than 1% on every troll solve. The only thing you can do is blacklist everything except for troll dig sites so that AB goes there first. But really, it makes no difference, just leave it to run normally auto solving in Eastern Kingdoms. You'll get it eventually, it's all about luck sadly..

its bind on account, you may want tocreate DK alt, to level to 85, and gathering bot :) WITH ZINROK :))
 
Got 2 of these Zin'rokh junk items so far! All i want is the heally tol'vir staff :(
 
Random number generation is of course random (well mostly) but here's what I've found on wowhead
Code: 
Assumption #1: you must be at least skill level 450 to have a chance for it to proc
Assumption #2: drop rate is probably 1 or 2%, to take the pessimistic approach I will guess 1%
Assumption #3: it takes between 30 and 35 fragments to solve troll projects so we will guess an average of 33
Assumption #4: you will likely have a bunch of troll tablets which basically count as 12 fragments each to make things easier

To find the probability of getting it you take 1 - P(event never occurs) = % chance. So if looking at your chance in two tries it would be: 
1 - P(.99 x .99) = 0.0199 (about 2%)

So to get up to a probability of about 50% (a coin flip) you would need to solve about 69 troll projects 
1-P(.99^69) = .5002 (about 50%)

If you want to get up to 90% chance you would need to solve about 230 troll projects 
1-P(.99^230) = .9009 (about 90%)

Results:
1% chance = 1 troll project solved = ~33 fragments
50% chance = 69 troll projects solved = ~2,277 fragments
75% chance = 138 troll project solved = ~4,554 fragments
90% chance = 230 troll projects solved = ~7,590 fragments
99% chance = 460 troll projects solved = ~15,180 fragments
 
Idk. there is some great knowledge in this topic, me personally have over 500 solves on 4 different characters with no zinrok on any of them. Though factor in the fact that allot of those solves were done WHILE leveling archeology.
Its a bitch is the easiest way to sum it up.
 
I have 125 troll solves, no sword.
56 Tol'vir solves no staffs.
But I got the ring, and doll trinket :D
 
I recieved the sword at lvl 78 on a hunter with only about 100 troll solves. So yes you can get it before lvl85 but you still cant use it till 85.

if its only 1% i wil lvl my dk til 85 i should be arch this sword its nice weapon for if you just start with you toon
 
170 solves still no sword, got the Staff tho trying to farm for the sword ^^ but im not giving up just yet
 
i have over 500 solves on my pally and about 100 on my druid. still no sword.
