Haven't really had too much of an incentive to bot d3, but a few irl buddies in my guild/clan have recommended it for para/norm bounty farming while im at my 9-5 job.
Some have DB, a few have another program i forgot the name of.

I'm curious to see what your impression of Demon buddy is.

user friendly?
efficient?
cpu strain?

(just like everyone else, custom scripting wasnt too hard for me back in D2.)

User friendly - If you know how to read and follow instructions you will be fine. 90% of the problems posted on this forum are people who get excited about botting and don't read the instructions thoroughly, and forget to do something. The other 10% of problems can usually be solved by doing a clean install of DB.

Efficient - Not really sure what you mean here. Most of the scripts are pretty clean cut, i.e. Go do this, then do this. Some of them, like the Rift profile, don't have maps that are consistent so the pathing won't be as efficient as someone doing it manually, but it's still pretty good.

CPU Strain - When there aren't memory leaks it is pretty much the same as just having D3 running.

I'll be first to put my 2 bits in

I love it and have done pretty much since its release.

Easy to use and setup. (as long as you can read and use the search function)

With the right setup ando profile it's very efficient indeed.

Minimal cpu strain. A couple of percent at most for a modest cpu.

Just get a couple of euro trail and run the bounty profile overnight and wake up to 10+ paragon levels (I'm in the 200)a dozen or so new legendarys 500 shards 20 mil gold (if you set to sell rares) and a whole stash tab full of caches

Purchase the 3 day trial. I just did and I'm thinking about buying another month when it expires.

It's not 100% right now but I still have profiles that work 100% of the time they just aren't as optimal as the ones that have a few bugs and can't be run alone for 12+ hrs. My other ones can though. Highly recommend it. I went from paragon 28 to paragon 303 in like 2.5 weeks or less.

Thanks for the fast reply guys. I dl'd the 3day trial, Leg Road profile, and ran t1 on my wiz. Seemed to go pretty smooth (minus an arcane frozen pack it liked to stand in before killing them). A few settings tweaks here and there and hopefully it'll do great the next few days. From download to in-game killing mobs was < 10 mins. If only d2nt was this easy...
