your imput on why i got banned ..read here

Well i got my first hb bot 1 month ago, I farmed on gatherbuddy for 3 weeks , 8-12 hours a day .
On my 4th week i tried farming shards for 5 days . I stopped once i heard they got duped on my server and now worth shit all.
On the 4th day of farming shards i got a error and logged off, when i logged back on right away my toon was placed on the other side of the mountain.
The only way to get my toon there was to fly but my bot was set to not use a mount.
I started gathering again, 3 days in i got banned.
So you think it was gathering or the shards?
How safe is it to gather herb / ore now ? Since this banwave is going on ?
Is it best to just wait till 5.2 comes out ?

Any imput or answered would be awesome .

I am not sure whats going on atm. I think it is weird that 3 days ago all expansions were put on sale and 2 days ago there seems to be a good wave of bans. My farming account was banned on Saturday night and my main account banned this morning (less then 6 hours ago). My main account I very rarely botted it cause I didn't want it to get banned. As I was doing some slight farming this morning while working I got hit. I hadn't farmed on that toon in about a week in which the last time i actually farmed I did it. I think there are people at Blizzard who have caught onto the farming routes and now its pretty much game over. I do know for me if I don't get my main account back I will not be returning to WoW. Maybe this will be what finally takes me away from the game. I am more pissed I had 4 stacks of living steel put together for my raid group already that were sitting on a toon.

Any type of farming is risky. More so if you use public profiles. There is no banwave, if there was *all* HB accounts would be banned.

Herbing and Ore gathering are bad atm due to the way GB2 handles trees/rocks...or the lack of the way it handles them i should say. All it takes is for 1 person to see you zig-zagging up and down and all around smashing into a tree/rock. Shard farming is also risky just because your following the same route over and over.

Do people have the same prob with zig-zagging up and down when using private routes or ones they have paid for via websites ect ?

Also can anyone point me in the right direction on where to purchace the BEst and safest profiles for gathering in mop ? pls and ty.

You will get that navigation problem regardless of the profile used. It's a core issue with HB and nothing a PAID profile will fix.
