Allot of thread's asking is it safe to bot right now, heaps of misinformation is being spread in theses threads.

I have add 3 accounts banned in the last week.

My main in the first ban wave (enhance shaman mostly using CR's and WQ profile)

I bought another battle chest a week later and was banned within 4 hours of creating the new account using 1-100 questing profile and watching the bot. (char was lvl24)

I was banned again using an old WOD account i had laying around from years ago. Again within about 2hrs

they seem to ban me as soon as i renewed my subscription......

im 100% sure Blizz are able to detect the 3rd party program, there is no possible way anyone reported me. Im not bummed out about loosing the accounts, it goes hand in had with botting.

basically learn from my mistakes i spent the $$ to test i can guarantee you will be banned using honorbuddy at the moment i never farmed herbs or ore, i was a very very casual player and only botted about 20% of the time. To see the admins say its as "safe" as its always been is absolute BS! Show some respect to your customers.

And i am assuming you were the first to start right back up after the ban wave, and disabled tripwire? How many accounts have been flagged under that one bnet? there are a lot of circumstances that come into play on bans.

So I have no idea why you are getting focused unless you did it before Honorbuddy updated etc/ or you disabled tripwire and did it when they said it wasn't advised

Your assumption would be wrong, if you read my post correctly you would find that i waited a week in fact a little longer.

i have never disabled tripwire, i do not know how to. my last ban was yesterday. always using the most recent version of honorbuddy

Did you change your IP after a ban? I edited my router settings to change the mac address that was in there, then restarted my modem and got a new IP. Been playing a bit, not investing a lot in it until some more time has gone by...

As for the guys getting banned:

Did you reinstall WoW + Battle.net? There a ton of registries, logs, settings,ids and other information left on your computer from your previous botting adventures. Heck there is even ton of files left after removing WoW and Battle.net that can be picked up by new WoW install.

If possible full PC format and pre install is advised.

Obviously, your system is either flagged or you are using other mechanics, not shared so far here, like VPN or other methods for tunelling or changing your IP Address, which are contributing for the short-pace bans on your side, not the botting itself.

So you need to follow the mini-guide of Soullinker above and do complete revamp on your system.

I started botting again less than 24 hours after banwave, have been going almost 24/7 levelling 2 chars and then collecting herbs using the same profile, just wondering when I would get banned - not so far though. I did not reinstall wow or anything like it.

Ok, you are 100%sure... explain that. What proof do you have?

There are so many posts here that it is impossible to be sure of anything. People post in 4 word that they are bannend, no log files, no ban tamplate or anything. I cant take those posts seriously.

Agreed there is very little to no posts from the staff about any update whatsoever. That anoys me to, at least say something like tripwire is active and works.
I am sure people are getting bannend from botting at this time. But why? Are there posts simply lies about what they are doing or what is it....?

I am curently active on 2 acounts never at the same time. 1 no HB at all the other leveling on CR only.
Thusfar No ban. Playing very little like 2 to 4 hour a day. (acounts 3 days old)

More specific information from staff here would be appriciated, or just say as staff we really just dont know at this time. Be honest and communicate. Would make alot of diffrence IMHO.
