You might get low FPS if you have Kapersky Antivirus.

Just posting in case it helps someone. I had very low FPS using RB during the last couple of weeks since an update some time ago. Turns out Kapersky Antivirus's processor usage shoots up whenever RB is moving your character (like when it moves between gathering nodes or quests). I'm guessing it has something to do with monitoring network traffic with the mesh server. It would make my FPS go from 100 to 20 when moving, then back to 100 when done moving. Disabling Kapersky should fix it.

Prolly less to do with the network aspect and more with the interacting with another process. I think HB has performance issues with kaspersky too.

You could just add the ff14bot to the exclusion list in App control & just change networks to trusted & allow, it fixed it for me.

This way you don't have to sacrifice security while bottling.
