You have not selected a valid instance of wow to attach to

I have been running my bot for a while now with no problems. Now all of the sudden when i try to run the bot it tells me that i have not selected a valid instance of wow to attach to. I open wow first.. log onto my character and then start the bot.. just like always. I read another thread where another guy had the same problem and i followed the instructions given to him and they were not at all beneficial. This is extremely irritating so please help
