Ugh, just got this and can't make it work. Fresh install, windowed mode and using direct x 9...any ideas?

Are you using a shortcut to access WoW? Make sure it's the Wow.exe in your main WoW folder.

Also make sure you launch WoW first and fully log in then launch Honorbuddy.

I need to install the honorbuddy files in my wow folder? I havent done that just on a folder on the desktop, I wasnt using a shortcut for wow

Nah you don't. Just restart a new Wow.exe and fully log in. Then launch Honorbuddy and try to attach then.

Yeah I have done that, I am getting annoyed now it wont let me select anything. It lets me load log, debug, nagiation and info but there is nothing there, I click the arrow above " load profile" which is gray and nothing.

1. download fresh release

2. login to your character (NOT WOW, CHARACTER - so you can move around etc)

3. start honorbuddy

4. let hb load all bots etc, use load profile to load profile and select right bot (questing bot for quests etc)

5. if u are going to bot in the night or when you are not near pc u can try "ARelog" from release section, it will automatically restart WoW/HB when u set all things right after crash/internet connection issue

Hello,

I am having the same issue. I have downloaded the newest copy of HB, I logged into my toon so I was standing in Org, then launched HB and I'm still getting this error.

WoW is ver 15050
Win 7 Home

I read the install guide but it didn't help.

Please make sure you do not have any another Honorbuddy application open in the background

Open up taskmanager and kill all Honorbuddy applications running and try again. (all i can say with the information you provided)

I got it sorted.. I had to change the DirectX setting in WoW from 11 to 9... my bad.. thanks for the quick response
