Hi guys.

I've been away from Honorbuddy forum and wow farming for a 1 year now, but wanted to start again.

Now, I have this huge issue that occurs all the time when I search the forum for profiles, plugins, or whatever.

I get this error message:

Pastortom, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I see from other threads about this that this is indeed an occurring error on the forums nowadays. Please fix this.

just use mine ... mine rocks

you can't download stuff from the archive

click the svn link in my sig ... make sure you copy over quest behaviors and plugins (and then enable the plugins) from my svn to the hb folders

if you need something un-archived in the future (that's useful for others) - just report it and we get an email

just tell us 'hey, i'd like this unarchived'

Okey, that's fine regarding archived profiles, but what about everything else?

I get it when I try to download:

* Plugins
* CustomClasses
* and other stuff (cant recall right now)

I can make a thread with all the links I come over which doesnt work if you want. I've had 12 links that doesnt work the last 2 weeks. some archived, some paid-plugins, some free-plugins
 
I just checked and I still cannot go to the root HB page (WOW Bot for PVP Leveling Gathering - Gatherbuddy & Honorbuddy Forums - Bossland Bots) - still getting the same "you do not have permission" error. I notice it about a month ago when I saw the top menu changed - it no longer shows 'Home' (I'm guessing it doen't want to show me a page that I don't have access to).

It's not a huge problem although it certainly has puzzled me why I would have access to that page when I'm not logged in, but once I login, I don't. Just doesn't make sense why that would be set that way... ya know?? ;)

I have the same issue with several links. Once I log in, I dont have permission to access it.

I've paid for lifetime use of Honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy, didnt think Id be denied access so often :P
 
Sounds like group permissions problem to me... (I deal with this on my job using Active Directory but we've got the network and permissions working pretty well now).

Whatever you changed in the permissions yesterday seemed to do the trick for me. I can now access the home page again, even when logged in.

Great job all ;)

anything in the archives section is outdated and not compatible with the latest version of honorbuddy, that's why its not available to download.
