you can farm anything with engineering in cata?

In looking through the engineering item list on WoWHead, I saw nothing in the 475-525 range like the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor. In wandering around the new zones on my non-engineering toons, I've yet to notice any 'clouds' either.

I may have missed something. If not, I'm sure enough QQing on the Bliz forums will cause it to change.

There is something.

Dunno what the item is called but it can be attached to a certain part of the engineers gear and allows you to collect Volatile Air while skinning (and maybe mining and herbing).

Allows a skilled engineer to occasionally collect Volatile Air while mining, skinning, or collecting herbs.

Tha cataclysm equivalent to the zappthrottle mote extractor. But it is handier so that instead of going out of the way to harvest from cloud things, you get it occasionally from mining.

So is this item actually working for anyone? Skinned about 100 things with this in my bags and got no volatile air.

I mined a stack or two of Obsidium and found myself with 2 Volatile Air. If your second profession is gathering, then this should be the FIRST item you want to make.

bossland has a army of toons everytime blizz says they have gotten another mill people to play wow i think that bossland probably has 1/3 of the accounts
