So, I took my time to let the heat from the moment get down a little and called Blizz today.
Got a very prick and arrogant GM, that come with the same scripted bullshit that you get on email, "we are not going to overtune the ban, because we have solid proof", and so on.
But I had a solid case on my side, because after I lost my main account last month, I was very cautions on this second. Leveled to 100 by hand, never used any automation, and was just using Raidbot with one selected CR, using CD's all by my judgement. So I know that they had very little evidence of botting, and standing confident, denying all accusations he was throwing at me.
After some arguing from my part, he come with: "Lets cut the bullshit, I cannot reveal any of our proofs for security reasons, but I can tell you how easy is for us see that you have been botting. I bet that you don't had any good answer for this things that is all on your system."
"First, you have 16GB of RAM, and Win64, but is using Wow in 32 bits, degrading the game performance for running the game in a "emulated" mode instead of native. You need to dig deep on game settings to change that. No one do that, unless for a very specific thing.
Second, running the game on windowed mode, another thing that decrease game performance. While some people use this mode, is very uncommon.
Third, click to move enabled. I don't need to talk about this one, period.
Fourth, vcredist_x86. This is a very, very uncommon install, very few computers have it, but, that's is the catch, your bot cannot run without it.
Fifth, you have Bossland and honorbuddy all over you registry file and also, look that! a folder Bossland\Honorbuddy in your AppData folder!
Any more questions?"
I was feeling so embarrassed that I had to hang up the call.
Just to add up, I was running HB from a unmaped network drive. Had it on my NAS, and invoked the exe using a bat file. Doens't matter right? Bossland is so confident that need to write his name on registry and folders. Right!
That got me under the skin, was unaware of registry and folders, because we are trying to fly under the radar here, right?? Who thinks that's is a good idea to write the name of the bot and the company that make it all over the place?
