Hi All,

Im the Developer from XRad, and old Radar for Aion, perhaps somebody around used it or heard about it.. Im planning on bringing the same to AA based on AB.

XRad tends to be a bit more than just a Radar.

What im planning (depending on what i can get from AB):

Basic Radar (WinForm)
+General Entities. (25%)
+Filters ( Type, Level, PC, NPC) (0%)
+Alert on target (PC / NPC) (0%)
+Alert on Interesting item ( TS, Chest, etc) (0%)
+NPC Ranges_?
+ Transparency
+ ClickThrough

Auto-Pot
HP pot on threshold. (0%)
MP pot on threshold. (0%)

Auto-Buff
Use buff in case its no longer on. (0%)

Basic land grab.
User selects the house. and radar will try to claim it for you. ( 50%)
(checks if its a valid property, and waits for remaining time, if time elapsed tries to claim. i need to test it to see if it works, and how to actually check if property is no longer there).

Auto-Sport Fish
Use keybind on fish buff.(0%)

Auto-Trade run
+Save route.
+Run route. (with random deviation)

Im still debating on whether itll be free or donation driven. It depends on how nice it gets. But first releases will be free

Any suggestion.

Extra features I would pay for:

Displaying a the class and guild of an enemy player in a simple color scheme or as text. This can be optional as some people would not want it. Making enemy players on the radar as blinking red dots. Blinking dots and sounds for important gathering stuff like thunderstruck trees.

Your land grab has to be as good as the other land grabs which bypass the confirmation window.

First releases should be free as it is basically a Beta.

Any feature that spams the server for info such as checking taxes for land etc should be off by default.

if the info is there ill show it. (about the enemies). Enemies are by default shown as red dots, and theyll have a special mark if they are targetting you. (you will also get an alarm). Indeed the same with interesting items.

i have been screwed since i got the soft, i created my base plugin and bam mantainance. so i havent been able to progress further.

i wont have "ban me" features by default (perhaps later on when i get bored with the game, which by the looks of it wont take long.)
.
The land grabber is intended to help you place, not 100% win. I want the radar to be as safe as possible while being helpful, not game breaking.

Im planning on hooking to the creatoreDeleted event. and test how it performs. Other options is manually check if the creature has 0hp, wait for a bit. and click. wait a second and retry. (as a normal person would do...) however im not sure how the placementMethod works. Thats why i have to test it.

(what do you mean by deviation?)

i prefer paid... as long as it is good... good stuff needs to be private

i suggest make it free for about a few days or a week or so... and see how the feedback is
if it is good then make it private

yes, ill be releasing today a preview version. it will only have basic radar functionality. (and rotation is kind of weird). And ill be updating from there.

After discussion with the Senior Development staff, we sadly have to classify all ArcheBuddy "radar" plugins as hacks.

We cannot allow a radar plugin that shows the user more information that they could fairly obtain by observing the gaming world. By 'fairly obtain', this means the radar may not display 'invisible' entities, or objects outside or behind the player's viewing area.

The ArcheBuddy API does not currently provide the necessary methods that would allow a 'non hack' version of a radar plugin to be created. As such, until this problem can be rectified, we must disallow all "radar"-type plugins.

We are archiving this thread. Hopefully, the problem can be rectified at a later date.
