Having spent a ridiculous amount of hours looking for answers (for a grown man with a job its kinda pathetic and stupid, but its bugging me now) I have noticed two things:
1) There are very many users with this issue
2) They all start posting in mid to late December last year

This may help to identify the nature of the problem if there were any changes to the BuddyStore or how HB interacts with said store, around that time.
I've noticed the complete lack of an actual sticky post and formal way to fix this problem. People say make your own forum post... but seeings how I have found many posts with this same damn problem then they must not know what the hell is wrong. And the fact theres always a few people looking at this post and the others... means its an ongoing problem. I have my own tedious, annoying, and time consuming way to get it to work however believe it's a bit ridiculous that I have to do so due to lack of actual answers that work for people. Since apparently this has been an issue for some time and will just continue to be one... Going through the exact same steps as everyone else to not get answers, no thanks.
if you want support you need to make your OWN thread, its not fair to the person who opened the thread for people to come in with issues that arent the same that he has and for them to want support. make your OWN thread.

I've made a new post. Here's the only thing that seems to maybe work for me. Turning on and off buddy store stuff doesnt fix the issue. Reinstalling both wow and honorbuddy on 3 computers does nothing. deleting the setting folder does nothing. this is the only thing that works and its time consuming. tedious. and annoying. I never had this issue until just recently... but if you just search for a bit you can see that the issue has been around as early as august 2014. Yet no one seems to get a definite fix to the issue. So, if there is a fix other than what I do below then that would be appreciated, but as far as the difficulty involved with finding a solution... its a bit outrageous. Bumping posts with the same issue that hasn't been resolved, leads to being told to make a new post. SOOO here's another... If anything what I posted will help some others.

Hey, if you find a better solution to the "Checking the buddy store for products. This may take a while." issue. Hook me up. This is what i do and it works i'd say 1/10 times till it finally works and loads up.
Close Honorbuddy. Go into your Honorbuddy forlder. Then logs. Then the log of the character you were on. Then open your most recent log. It will say... there was a failure to load [01:08:04.005 D] System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'file blah blah blah then copy the name of the compiled assembly that didnt load. Go back to your honorbuddy forum and go into the compiled assemblies folder. Delete the .dll and .pdb file with the failed assembly. Try running honorbuddy again. It works quickly sometimes. Other times it turns into a tedious process that takes forever. If it doesn't work rinse and repeat. GL

There are several logs from just one of my characters. Same thing happens with all of my characters.

disable your anti-virus an give it another shot.
Fair Enough, I feel like an idiot. My wife turned the antivirus back on. Im jumping through all these hoops when the solution was right in front of me at least on my main computer. I think my wifes computer is still having issues. I will update if necessary. Thanks,
