Hi guys, just need quick answer if explosive arrow will be support on the new patch.
I have too much attack speed so arrow dont explode, i need to stop casting for like 0.5s for it to explose.
Thx for answer.

Thx for all the amazing job you do =)

Yeah, right now Explosive Arrow is an amazing build, fast clear speed, huge surv., cheap as fuck and the only mod it cant handle is reflect elemental. All around one of the best builds right now.

It can support it by tweaking the combat routine to do exactly that: pause .5 seconds once it sees something as full stacks. If you'd like to go further you can have the routine check the rarity of the monster and/or move onto a new monster upon full stacks. Another idea is to target rares first and then pause if you know for sure everything else will die in a certain radius.

As long as my routine isn't totally broken by the new update, I'll implement EA support. If it breaks I won't have time to fix it though

Going to be broken as fuck, the routines will be. The last major change broke the 'old' routines but they needed rewriting after being through a few EB changes.
That major change was nothing compared to this current EB change, so.. broken as fuck.

I look forward to coding with the new codebase, well, just to make a bitching explosive arrow cr or something.

Or an awesome blade vortex one ;) favorite spell and all. You know you want to.

Actually pushedx never mentioned something will change for the casting stuff part, atleast for now. Routines should still work.

Last season I ran with BV. Treated it as a melee skill. Worked pretty well, it'd run up, start casting while mob was alive (generally not for very long) then move onto next. It kept the stacks up decently. I put a flicker strike in at one point so it would get to the target quicker and not be body blocked too. Leveled from 4 to 80+ that way. What would you code to make it better?

It'd take the logic you described and expand on it. Maybe you want to maintain more stacks, it'd then cast it for a second or two after a monster dies or beforehand once it targets it and before it gets in range. Little things like that. Since I'm not a coder I don't know the extent the logic can go and don't want to say things which are impossible in the current bot's capability.

The Default Routine would have issues with EA because the design assumes you want to spam cast your skills as fast as possible. It does no skill specific logic checks, so you'd need a custom CR to handle it better.

Thx for answer Pushedx.
If someone can do it for me i will apreciate it a lot since i understand nothing in coding!
Have a good day all
