I never bot more than a few hours at a stretch, virtually never on consecutive days, and always 100% while I am sitting there watching it. I use no public profiles when gathering... and I've actually botted extremely little since Legion launched.

Based on the myriad other reports today, the software got caught... And honestly, I'm fine with that. I've been looking for an excuse to quit on a more permanent basis, and a 6 month suspension is just what I need.

Edit - Yeah. We're up to 3-1/2 pages of ban reports just today. Good times.

Do you have any observations about the event you'd like to share?

The bot was never running when I wasn't there. If I needed to leave my desk, it got paused or shut off. These are always my habits; I've never been part of a ban wave or suspension, despite botting since WoWGlider. I'm fine with it, personally, but I hope you guys figure out how it was detected, because it is pretty obvious that it has been.

Edit - Possibly important info - I have wiped my PC since I botted last so I don't have logs to attach, but(!) my other account that I had botted on (entirely leveling) has not been banned. However, I have not botted on that account for the last 3 patch updates, and only botted on the one that got banned very recently, so anything Blizzard did has to be very recent.
