Any chance of a dev or admin confirming how the xp/hour is calculated? Is it based on how much xp the toon has received in the current session divided by how long the session has been running or?

Where does it even show XP/hour? Anyway, most likely:
(log(XP in session)/log(timeInSession))*1000*60*60
(log(XP in session)/log(timeInSession))*1000*60*60
