Well ive been a PC addict since commadore 64 the only Console i have ever owned was the OLD Sega Mega drive .And was thinking of buying a console to start playing other games that dont have PC releases.
Now the ?? is what console to buy? i have looked at both Xbox and PS3 but still dont know which is better. I would REP any thoughts on this pls
Well i have had both, but i got rid of my xbox for the ps3 (due to the blu-ray player) but people will most probaly say xbox due to ps3 getting hacked and being down for a month (playsation store still down) and with multyplayer coming back online they made a bigg security flaw when going back online with changing your ps3 password lol
also when i had the xbox if i nocked or moved the xbox while a game was inside it would burn threw that disc so i would have to go the local game shop to get the disc layer fixed, saying that there has been many manafacturing fault's with the 360 but they could have been fixed up by now.
So i would say ps3 since playing online is free ;p
ps3 is better imo (can be discussed forever) but more expensive but free online mode, have blueray aswell. the games are aswell targeting a little higher age.
both is *****ed but also detected if u go online i think.. i think both xbox and ps ban ur hardrive..
i would go for the console that ur friends have. i have a ps3 myself and would never change it
Xbox 360 has better online play service and does indeed have a larger community, it's better since you pay a fee to use it. Of course PS3 has it's benefits too, Blu-Ray etc and I think their online service is pretty good if you look away from the hacking of their servers and the online play is indeed free. Pretty good for someone who hasn't got a lot of cash to spend. But remember that the games for PS3 will usually be 10-12 dollars more expensive than Xbox ones.
