My current and installed items :
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
Power Supply Unit: COUGAR COUGAR-GX1050 1050W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Yes, flexible cable management Active PFC Power Supply Haswell ready
HDD: Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 (465 GB) <-Only has windows updates and also same with drivers for anything.
External HDD: WD My Book 1112 (930 GB) <- I run my games off of this since it has more room.
CPU: CPU Type QuadCore Intel Core i7-950, 3200 MHz (24 x 133)
Motherboard: Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R v1.6 (2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x4, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)
Mobo Chipset: Motherboard Chipset Intel Tylersburg X58, Intel Nehalem
Memory: DIMM1: Corsair Vengeance CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9 4 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (8-8-8-22 @ 592 MHz) (7-7-7-19 @ 518 MHz) (6-6-6-16 @ 444 MHz) X3
Video card: EVGA e-GeForce GTX 780 Ti
Monitor: Dell E2311H (Digital)
I have roughly 400$ to spend. My final thoughts on my parts is that I was initially gonna go for two Titans and put them in SLI but then I started thinking that my HDD was a issue witrh startup speed and multitasking speed. I lost a SSD before but when I had it it was quick and snappy. Question is now..do I get more game appeal with a new monitor since I have a good video card? Or should I upgrade my CPU and get a new SSD? You can input your choices for the amount of money I have. Thank you.
