Wtf leveling so slow

help, this retarded bot gains about 3 levels a day and is only level 17, i dont know if im doing something wrong or if its the profile or what, anyone gimme some assistance on what might be wrong?

i have HB 1.9.5.3. and i downloaded the undead 1-50 profile, loaded it up, selected a mesh folder, put in my settings and let'em go at it, heres what happens.

1. bot tries to do most difficult quests in his log(red/orange)
2. repeatedly tries to kill the same mobs over and over for hours if i dont stop him.
3. more often than not the bot will give up entirely on quests and grind on the mobs closest to him, which are grey/green mobs most of the time.
4. he sometimes just sits and does nothing, just sits there till afk logs him out.

wondering if someone can recommend me a bot to level this toon? be it a straight grind bot or quest or pvp or anyhting, the other bots ive tried dont work with undead starting zone because the bot tries to run to mulgore to repair and sell.

The honest answer is that questing sucks right now. It's fail in a major way.

I'm sure somebody will tell you something different or blame your setup/char but in my opinion, if you want to level then stick to grinding because questing is a waste of time with HB
 
questing is still on beta
grinding is faster atm
 
You probably have kil between hot spots on, i noticed one of my bots killing greys to.
 
it sounds like its not the bot thats retarded maybe its u.. so many posts here about questing being broke!

alright, questing blows right now, when it comes to grinding are there profiles i need or do i just set it to grind and stick him in an area for his level?

like i said im new to the whole honorbuddy thing so i dont quite know everything.

also, i dont care for speed, i just want it to level at a decent pace without me having to sit here and babysit 24/7.
 
there are many profiles at profile section mate
you have to load a profile in order to work
also there are profile sets
so your char will navigate throught areas
 
Mixed mode is fastest. It may seem like BG isnt worth it but if you win, sometimes its like a whole level of XP you gain.

alright, but are there specific grinding profiles that are different from the questing profiles? or can i just use the same 1-50 undead profile and set the bot to grind and let'em loose?

just asking cuz i couldnt find anything specific like "grind this area/class/level" profiles... also, newbie

EDIT: im level 18 right now, would mix grind/pvp be good for me? cuz a friend said its almost pointless till after 50, what with the twinks and running short on gold throughout the levels.

use same profile, set bot as grind bot - turn off the option to kill in between hotspots.

its better to use mixed after 50lvl
there are questing and normal profiles but you can use both
 
this bot set to grind in southern silverpine, circles the southern area of the zone with all the dalaran mobs, it pulls about 6 throughout its entire circle and walks right by about 20 without doing anything. it just walks along the road and than strays off for a few seconds every now and then.

is the bot supposed to kill everything or just what aggros him?

is this profile just not built well? i mean should i try a different one? if so, which would be recommended?

my bad for being so nub.
 
I used the undead 1-50 questing profile last night and the questing worked pretty well for me. i was a warlock with ski's cc
 
yeah questing is so bad that it shouldnt even be called beta....but use grinding.

i used the 1-50 Questing until about level 20 then decided to make my own 20-60 as i was grinding and by doing Mixed ive now got a rogue to level 53 using BoA gear in 3 days 12 hrs played.
 
alright, another overnight grind and he went up two levels, from 20 to 22(sort of, hes 2 bars from 22). is this the normal grind speed for a warrior bot or should i try a new profile? im still using the 1-50 undead.

EDIT: in hillsbrad and he keeps jumping on the spot, running about 5 yards and returning to the spot to continue jumping, he repeats this process until i stop him. this happens on his route to repair, he stops about halfway to TM from the hillsbrad/silverpine border.
