Did you try re-installing? Anytime something fishy has happened to me, that has worked.

Support is on vacation.
Try to reinstall with having correct .net Framework and c++ installed.
One thing:
When you write as you do,the chance that someone will help you is little. Think about that

update to the latest DB build and if you still got issues

open a new thread providing your log file plz
