with a bot it's nearly impossible to NOT make gold but you can multiply your output with some easy tricks ^^
for beginners start with this : Tarou WoW Guides | Now Go PvP or Something!
he provides you with basics and after you conquer those also some advanced strategies ^^

also i think he has the best profession leveling guides i know !!
