WoW Version Weirdness - Live newer than Beta

Does anyone else find it strange that the build on the beta server (#16048 Sep 5, 2012) would be older than the build on live (16057 Sep 10, 2012)?

It certainly doesn't give me a high degree of confidence about the quality of Tuesday's release...not that I had a lot from seeing how broken beta still is.

Not a huge deal, I just found it really odd.

I don't think we will be able to play wow -at all- on Tuesday. If the servers are up and playable, that'll be a happy surprise... but after playing through all the wow expansions to date, I don't expect much.

The servers should not be down long. You already have all if not most the mop data installed already.

well, they stopped the beta and then did a minor content update, so yeah beta build should be older now.

according to bliz, they have some new tech that should make it where at 12:00, the servers won't even shut down... the new quest will just appear like MAGIC!

my understanding is that if everybody holds there breath for this... then you'll all pass out and ill be able to log in after the restart they know is really coming without a queue!
