WoW Gathering - Increase Ban Rate?

Hi,

I've barely really played much since MOP came out, wasn't really appealing, but I logged back into my account last week after quite a bit of time, and I am now curious, I wouldn't mind putting gather buddy back on but I read blizzard had some LCD (I may have misread the name :P) detection now, that detects if your on a continuous loop or something of that kind? Anywho, is this correct? I started botting since beginning of 2011 and I've only ever been banned from Kicks profiles, both occasions, was on the same quest, but the account always got reinstated.

But Is it harder to farm now, I am not wanting to really take the risk, yet, I guess If I was start, I should (best case, does it banned :P) - but could someone please explain this to me, I saw RandomBuddy, which is suppose to go against being on a set path, and randomly goes to hotspots, but looks like the return isn't all that grand, and read people been banned from that too, so I don't really know what to take away from all this :P
 
There has definitely been an increase in people being banned (the correlation with them using GB2 has increased as well) recently. I would wait it out and try GB2 when
the amount of bans has declined. I feel it's too risky to try using it right now.
 
it's about the same as it's always been.
Though the new "auto detect" feature did increase bans, it only works if you are, no offense, stupid or extremely unlucky.
 
Hmm. Well when I use to farm materials, usually only bottled for like 5 hours, give or take, stupidity can almost be associated with anything, so what number does it go with in this scenario?
 
using GB2 now or in the future holds no inssurance that you won't get banned. The ban increases are also still people that just came to botting in WoW and tought "he if I can make 1k in a hour I can make more in 24/7...." and then don't understand why they are banned. I'd say your best bet is get a good private / homebrew profile and change it every other half day. Just switch a few times around with profiles just so you won't get at the same node again.

So.... Change it everyday? Sorry, I had to, lol. Totally agree with this. Make your own profiles, gather for 2 hours at a time tops. Switch profiles constantly.

half day in terms of 12 hours shifts. Think of WoW Botting as a job, you turn it on but check it from time to time to be sure it's ok. Besides that you have shifts, first you let Johny A work, then Johny B.
I love how people say farm 2 hours max, I think it comes down to what cc you are using, profiles, blackspots, time, population(big factor = reports), I usually bot with my feelings as this may sound strange to many, when my guts tells me don't, NO Bot will see the light for that day or even weeks.

WoW Botting to me is more then pressing start, it's knowing your realm, the game, the areas, the classes, the abilities, EVERY single thing counts. Hence why I'm always ahead because even in life you need to plan, try and do the same with WoW and you shall have proper gold and a fun time playing with HB.

Hope this is of any help to anyone out there starting, or vets.
