Wow.exe booting to launcher

Hi, quick question here. Whenever I boot up from the Wow.exe in my program files (I use this for HBrelog, since if you link the program path to the one on your desktop it doesn't work) it boots directly to the launcher. Does anyone know why this is happening?

It's a patch, it requires the new patch to run there's no way of bypassing it, it's required to login to the game

I've got my wow.exe in different wow directories, booting to wow launcher, then when I hit play, it loads my generic wow directory (programfiles/wow) and not the other ones, that i clicked wow.exe from.. any idea?
