WoW crashing on HB start - [string "WoW.lua"]:1:Couldn't find CVar named 'autoSelfCas

I'm trying to run the Grand Treasure Hunter v1.

When I start the Questing bot, after loading the Shadowmoon Valley xml, WoW crashes with the following message:

Message: [string "WoW.lua"]:1:Couldn't find CVar named 'autoSelfCast'
Stack: [string "WoW.lua"]:1:in main chunk.

I've followed all steps to 1) clear WoW cache, 2) Battlenet cache, 3) HB cache, and I've done this several times including waiting 5 minutes before logging back in, then 10, and also 15min. I also tried with DX9 as I saw Tony mention that somewhere else. I'm really at a loss here guys.

EDIT: I made a tiny little bit of headway on my own. I saw the lines about ProstoPets loading although I don't know why it would have because I wasn't running it! It was just there in the /bot folder. So I removed it from there, put it away elsewhere, and it didn't come up. HOWEVER, WoW still crashed but with no message this time. It was just as HB was going to "fetch meshes"... See attached log:

EDIT: Here's about as fresh as I can make my WoW & HB: I did all the steps, cleared all caches, loaded NO addons, and waited 20 minutes. The problem persists!

EDIT: Tried even one more time, cleared everything, also removed that Pokehbuddy plugin AND also ran it in DX9. Still no go!

Hello and thanks for your suggestion, however it doesn't work. I don't have any of those running and my system is very lean, streamlined, very few apps in memory.

I should point out that HB *DOES* work just not with THIS specific profile (the SMV part of the Grand Treasure Hunter). I can run the questing bot with Kick's profiles, those work. Combat bot works. Fishingbuddy works.

I know the whole Grand Treasure Hunter profiles suggest that one start in Frostfire Ridge but that's a long way away! It also explains that you can run it from somewhere else if need be. Perhaps there's something in the profile that doesn't want me to be starting it up in SMV?

EDIT: So I schlepped all the way over to Frostfire Ridge (I didn't have any of the flight routes) and when I start the profile THERE, it works. I don't know what will happen when and if it makes it's way back to SMV, but in FFR it works.

This leads me to believe that there's something wrong with the SMV xml profile, no?

if the other profiles work, then yea its probably the profile, at that point i can only suggest reporting it to the profile developer.

It's a Buddyteam profile so EchoTiger and Hawker should be notified. Can this thread be moved to that one?
