Wow Background Botting

Hey guys, I was speaking to a friend today who's botting. I haven't botted for about 6 months because i've been banned numerous times and for somereason i keep getting banned within a hr of botting.

Neways, i was chatting to my mate today and he said that apparently you take wow off background mode and it makes your bot alot harder to detect.

I was just wondering if there is such a thing as disabling the wow background.

If you are getting banned within 1 hour of botting you are doing something drastically wrong...

Well i botted fine for 6 months, then 1 day i loaded up my shaman and got perma banned, got it back a wk later, didn't bot for a month came back with a brand new account and the same gb settings (but redownloaded GB) and i got banned within a hr.

I then got another account and got pretty much instantly banned again.

Mind you this was about 6 months ago.

Not sure what i did wrong, was only botting for 4-6 hrs a day and was monitoring it regularly and it was never getting stuck.

I don't know how to do it, and it doesn't make it harder to detect your bot.
 
I have no clue what "background mode" he's referring to.

are you saying minimized? or running in the background while playing another game?
 
The only mode that makes it less detectable is non-background mode where it takes control of your mouse which does not inject into the game. Though Hb or Gb do not have this option.

Are you using any plugins? Was the Perma ban for using third party programs (or what ever blizzard call it), flooding AH?
 
He is asking if wow not having focus (not being the "front" window with the different color bar) will make botting easyer to detect. It wont make it easyer for wow to detect you botting persay, but it does make it possible for wow to detect that it is out of focus and is still getting key hits. Do they check this? Who knows, who cares, the only reason blizz dont detect you botting is privacy concers limiting what the do anyway. Threat your botting toons like your mana flasks! :-P
 
When Talking about the Data Protection Act.. i don't think blizzard are allowed to "check" anything but their own software.
