would you upgrade an i7 3770k to i7 4790k?

i see the i7 3770k is stil fast and good would you upgrade a cpu from 3.5ghz to 4ghz the i7 4790k i think its useless to upgrade my old cpu i just could buy all things and keep the cpu right?

If you do not have a special scenario that you need the CPU power do like exodia said and overclock the current one.

Nah, it's not worth it. If you're just gaming the 3770k is more than enough power for that. The cost for the CPU+motherboard would be better invested in waiting for the next Intel series CPU
