Would it be worth it to pick up Herbalism?

HEy, been using Gb for a few days now and extremely satisfied. I currently have an alt who does mining for me. I was curious as to the gold difference would be if I were to pick up herb also? I rarely bot long enough to fill my bags, ussually around 6 hrs at a time, do you think I would notice a large increase In gold?

Most of the herbs I make into cards and / or potions. What Eternal Life are left over I list on the AH. On my server they sell for 600-800G a stack. I can make 2-4 stacks on an overnight run. Frost Lotus sell extremely well too.

600g!? I'm lucky to get 300g a stack on my server

I have just swapped to herbalism on my farmer, he also has mining.I am running for about 6 hrs a day. I usually get 1 stack of Frost lotus (800g) and 2 stacks of Titanium ore (350g) as an average, I just AH them. I get enough saronite for my enchanter to turn in to titanium bars, I use them to make titansteel bars and AH them. Rest of the herbs I mill and turn into cards. Eternal life sell for 600g a stack, but i am keeping them for now as I want to keep grinding out the cards. So for me for 6 hrs of herbing and mining about 1500g from mats i don't use, about 1000g a day from the stuff I create.

On my server my main profit is from seling herbs, the eternal life is free with more or less each herb you pick. Me and my friend running herbing and him doing mining then flask and what not were making over 10k per day. So if I was you i would deffo get Herbalism.

Flasks sell for less that on the mats used to make them on my server, no point making flasks, Frost lotus sells for 41g each give or take, flasks that use them as a mat sell for 30g give or take, I don't understand why anyone makes flasks on my server at all.

Because minimum is x2 for each lotus
so:
41 lotus
15g/4 lichbloom
10g/4 icethorn
1g vial
41+3,75+2,5+1=48,25
/2 (minimum flasks, but you can proc and get x10 , x6 etc)
= 24,125 so they still make some profit themself if we take in consideration maybe they sell better the flasks, plus the procs, etc maybe still better sell the flasks than the herbs.

I only got inscription to 450 on the weekend, trying to get a deck or 2 done before the faire goes, if not I'll just have a few by the time it comes back
