Would it be possible to have ArcheBuddy remember the game settings you've last made?

Maybe I don't know how to make him remember or retrieve the settings from the main installation files, but it is very annoying and time consuming having to make the game windowed mode, select the resolution, set default player appearances, set all custom keys that are essential to you, etc.

Would it be possible to make it retrieve the settings from your local files?

Never mind, I found the workaround - not selecting a character slot in Account Manager.

Since no one answered you Out which settings would be best changed by default, I would say:

Uncheck:
- Screen > windowed mode & resolution 1024x768
- UI size at minimum 80%
- Name info > Pets/Summons > My Pet/Summon, Friendly, Enemy
- Game Info > Show Chat Bubbles, Insufficient Bag Space Alert, Back Slot Display Priority
- Game Info > Damage/Heal Info : Target > dragged to minimum at "Self" & distance at minimum: 0m
- Functionality > Camera Shake Effects, Low Health Warning, Quest Dialogue Closeups, Show Quest Direction Arrows

Check:
- Game Info > View Frame Rate
- Functionality > Double-Tap Jump to Deploy Glider
- Functionality > Show Default Player Appearances
- Functionality > Max Players Displayed set at a minimum: 50m
- Functionality > Auto-Decline: guild invites, family invites, jury invites, duels
- Functionality > Disable Chat Filter

The bolded ones I consider most important because they impact client performance and functionality. Other important settings like mount/dismount pet, follow key and others are up to each person's preference.
