Would gold selling be worth it?

Yes, this is another one of those threads, when Cataclysm comes out, Blizzard is going to make it so easy to get gold, that it would be pointless for people to buy gold, making the gold prices drop, which makes the suppliers prices drop, but also, its going to be easier for us to make gold, so it might drop in price, but we can get more per 24hrs.

My question for the community, would it still be worth it to sell gold once cataclysm comes out?

Why im asking this is because i was thinking about buying 2-3 more accounts for $20 each, but idk if its gunna be worth it after December 7th, and then that was a big waste of money?

I personally think that the reason the prices are going down is that too many people are selling gold. I believe that once cataclysm hits the prices will be low for a couple of months and it will be difficult to make any money at all. This will mean that lots of people will stop botting and selling there gold, this will then mean the price will go up as there is not as much supply. Just my thought's I could be wrong I don't know.

Yes, but when the expansion gets released, im wondering if the prices will go up due to people wanting more gold to buy things in the expansion etc? Plus its easier for us to make gold, so that just doubles our output, making it even more beneficial to gold sellers, but this is just my two cents.

Yes, but there will be people who will come back to botting/gold selling which will drive prices lower.

I have identified at least 3 other people on these forums who are botting who are active and I imagine there would be thousands who are not active. Also theres lots of other bots out there. I imagine if it 'does' turn out to be profitable people will come in the droves driving the price down once again.

Thus making the prices go right back to the way they were? Hmm, this is a confusing event and can only be solved when it actually happens.

if it is easy for us to get gold, it will also be easy for buyers to get gold, which will reduce demand.

I am buying around 20 Battlechest + wrath keys, buy not for botting.

I will be reselling them after ebay prices go back up to norm

Why people say gold will be easy farm-able? Take a look at cata ores and you cant find saronite bar equivalent(same as in case with cobalt triangle shield) which was gold price killer .... Anyway I am still selling for 3 usd per 1k.... At the moment there arent many gold demands, because people are bored from wotlk especial from ICC which was here about 1 year ... In my opinion gold price will be same(3-4 usd per 1k or higger).

I think there will be a demand when catalysm hits thats why i am stockpilling all my gold. But its true i use to make bank off selling gold close to 3,000 a month with glider when prices were $12 a k to the chinese its supplie and demand there will always be a demand for gold aslong as people keep playing wow personaly im farming 24/7 until the expansion comes out and have a vanila account safeguarding the gold as soon as cat comes out its getting sold just gotta have multiple ways of making money and it all adds up

if you put in the time and effort. selling gold is worth it. in my case its not a career ofcourse but my bots pay for themselves, a lil extra on the side and ofcourse more accounts ...
just a thought on cata.... prices will be just as high on cata items as it was in wotlk as with bc and so on.
people have more than one toon these days, i'd fathom the normal WoW player has atleast 3 toons at lvl cap or close. 280/310/azeroth flying = 14k gold atm so you do the math.
new gear= new shit needed to outfit that new gear

Im no Bossland or any of these guys have have an assload of accounts but i have doubled from 3-6 bots in the past year. my only issue now is haveing computers up and running to run all 6
