I haven't played in almost a year, and am super interested in this new xpac and playing demonhunter. For those who are playing, should I renew? is it fun? what all can you do now that you couldn't before this prepatch was released?
 
I'm having a lot of fun. Demon Hunters are something I've wanted since TBC. Their mobility is fun, too.

This expansion has hype levels exceeding Warlords, and it looks like they might actually come close to meeting those expectations.

Right now it's the launch event. If you remember the Naxx, Wrath, or Cataclysm events it's a lot like that. Wowhead has a good rundown on it all.
 
Yeah it's pretty cool, dude. I'm killing it on demon hunter right now. It kinda sucks stuck at 100 though, not gonna lie to you. Two talent points is not great in pvp. No snares, self heals, anything. Buuuut when legion actually launches they get their full kit, so they'll be more viable. Unless you roll vengeance, then you're just a tanky healy beast that melee cringe at having to fight.

yeah i'm playing DH right now, really fun. not many skills but still pretty awesome
 
Yeah DH is pretty strong in random BG's ..they mostly top the meters and will get a nerf before too long my guess. Fun to play while they are op tho.
 
besides DH testing i have nothing to log in to do by myself at the moment tbh...

Blizzard doesn't balance a class 10 levels under the level cap. Wait for 110 before speculating on nerfs.
