Worked perfectly fine before yesterday's update. Now I can't even open AB

I didn't install anything else. Tried reinstalling in a clean location and same thing happens. Is it just me? Or how did you fix it?

Have windows 8.1 x64 pro
Tried:
- reinstalling AB in new clean folder
- uninstalled .NET framework 4.5, reinstalled
- uninstalled Visual Studio C++ framework, reinstalled the 2013 one
- always running with admin permissions
- windows is up-to-date with updates
- installed IIS7 manager
- IIS7 > run > inetmgr > application pool > default settings : enable 32-bit applications > forced to "true"
- IIS7 > run > inetmgr > application pool > advanced settings for all .NET pools & default pool > enable 32-bit applications > forced to "true"
