wont update or check for updates no matter what i do

And no products will stream from the store as well i dont know what else to do ive tried fresh installs for the update problem and it still is there if there is anyway you all can get on top of this issue im sure its not only me its happening to. Seems to me that it didnt start till that server issue a week ago now everything is messed up please fix it.
 
rest your windows hosts file and also flush your dns

any antivirus enabled?
 
yes tony did all those and no it doesnt work still coming up witht he same issue only seems to be linked to that server down crap from a week ago. from then on streaming plus this has gone to sht

What was the solution? I am getting the same issue as well and checked firewall, anti-virus and Internet Options but with no luck.
 
I read the logs and changed Internet settings to not check for certificates revocation thinking that would do it, but no change. Can we manually get the certificate to install?

your SSL certificate on the update server has expired. The issue isn't on any user's end. You guys need to renew it.
