Won't recommend to bot until the map update

Just wanted to warn fellow bot users that it's currently very unsafe to bot due to the bot being stuck or spinning around on several maps already mentioned in another threads. I've used the bot for 3-4 days, and received the "bot warning" email from Wargaming today. Most likely my account was flagged because of all the people reporting me when the bot gets stuck, this is especially dangerous when it gets stuck in safe place and survives until the end of the fight, so your teammates will all spectate you, and report. Several times I have observed this while babysitting the bot.
I know the devs have mentioned they are working on new maps for the bot, and this is good, I can't wait until they are done to try it out again, but until then I'm pretty much forced to stop botting.

Btw good thing WG at least warns you first.

there are many reasons for a ban/suspension,its not perma right?

for botting and afk its a perma ban, its most likely player reported you coz they found you spinning in some maps or stucking/shooting while stucking.

its a warming mail, a friend of my got it and ignored it after 3days he got banned....
i think if someone will make another report to your account aside from those previous reports thats the time they will ban you.

I purchased a lifetime key not long time ago and well - I was forced to stop botting as well - due to bot getting stuck, or spinning on several maps.

As it is now - I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BOT or PURCHASE any new subscription, until devs stop screwing us around with empty promises and address the issues.

I do not understand, why they can't just disable any movement for those particular maps until it is fixed!

I think I should charge back the amount I paid for the bot on credit card - I did not get what I paid for!

What tier tanks were you botting?

I botted tiers 5-7 and Lowe, and on higher tier tanks people seem to easier discover that you are botting, but I believe with new maps if bot stops getting stuck, this will not be a problem.

Yes, I already mentioned that I think I got reported because I saw few times people flaming in chat that I'm bot, when it was spinning or behaving stupid when the rest of the team died already.

It's not a ban yet, it is just a warning e-mail. Like "We know you are botting, you got reported. Stop or you will be banned."

Well, I'm also mad that I can't bot properly now and that I got my account flagged, but devs already mentioned they are working on a new version, which may when finished have higher cost, so look at it as a kickstarter/investment. So far bot has been good, just those bugs with waypoints need to be fixed asap.

Lol I believe that is a yes. Fellas lets be productive and help the devs with constructive feedback.

The truth is that botting is not allowed in the game. We all take some risk when we bot. Tl is not perfect, in fact far from it. Hopefully a new version will be out soon. The devs are asking for input in another thread.

somebody know that Russian hackers have recently hacked Tankleader and posted in public access, maybe because of this?
